Adidas launches adipure 360 footwear
In the past three years, adidas Golf has introduced a lineup of golf shoes with something for just about everyone. Sport-style shoes, spikeless shoes and some of the lightest shoes in the industry, the adizero one, have been the company’s focus.
This Spring, though, adidas Golf has released a shoe that it hopes every golf purist will love: the pure 360, its next generation of adipure footwear.
The new shoes, currently available in four different colors and carrying a $250 price tag, feature clean, classic designs combined with the company’s best technologies and materials. All that means the golfer’s foot will move the way it needs to for peak performance on the course.
While the shoes are just now hitting the consumer market, the pure 360 has been in the hands — or on the feet — of adidas Golf Tour staffers since January. Dustin Johnson wore the new pure 360’s at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions and had great things to say about them.
“Walking as much as we do out on tour definitely takes its toll,” Johnson said. “Once I started wearing the pure 360, I immediately felt the incredible comfort and felt more refreshed at the end of my round. They’re the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn.”
Designers at adidas Golf didn’t just have professional players in mind when they designed the pure 360’s. With research showing that golfers take an average of 12,000 steps during an 18-hole round, designers knew that shoes played an important role in overall performance.
The pure 360 is designed with a new tour performance last, giving additional support in the midfoot and heel, and new outsole featuring thintech technology with poured polyurethane (PU), which helps the company promote it as its most comfortable and stable shoe ever. The upper portions of the shoe are made with premium leather.
Pay attention during this weekend’s WGC-Cadillac Championship and you’ll certainly see adidas Golf Tour professionals like Johnson and Sergio Garcia sporting the adipure 360 as they work their way around the Blue Monster.

Golf fans left surprised by LIV’s choice of course for its 2024 individual championship event
On Tuesday, LIV announced their individual championship will be held at Bolingbrook Golf Club just outside of Chicago. The event will take place September 13-15.
The late announcement is seemingly due to LIV looking for the right course in the Chicago area that has the infrastructure that can accommodate a professional event.
The choice of Bolingbrook Golf Club has received some feedback on social media.
Maybe Rich Harvest Farms wasn't available? RHF is 50miles from Chicago but at least it's surrounded by farm land so plenty of space to set up

Awful course choice, it's a dog track!

LIV fans were quick to point out that Bethpage Black, which is hosting the 2025 Ryder Cup, can also be played for a reasonable price, making the point the greens fees don’t always equate to the quality of the golf course.
During LIV’s first two seasons, LIV utilized Rich Harvest Farms in Chicago. It’s unclear why that course is off the rotation in favor of Bolingbrook.

Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red apparel line officially launches with ‘The Hunt’ collection
Sun Day Red, the brand from 15-time major champion Tiger Woods and TaylorMade Golf, today launched its initial release of golf, training and lifestyle apparel and accessories. The company’s first-ever release is now available exclusively on SunDayRed.com
This first release, entitled “The Hunt,” is a preview of the colors Tiger will be wearing at the PGA Championship in a few weeks at Valhalla Country Club, in Louisville, KY.
Visual references of friendly rivalry allude to Tiger’s back and forth battle at the 2000 PGA Championship, as well as to the action-oriented nature of the collection’s name. The brand will follow up with additional special releases in May as it unveils the full breadth of the first product line to fans.
“We have been eagerly awaiting this moment since our brand was first announced in February 2024. The outpouring of support from our fans has exceeded our wildest dreams. We are excited for everyone to experience firsthand the exceptional quality of Sun DayRed apparel.” – Brad Blankinship, President, Sun Day Red
For the debut of the initial collection, Sun Day Red is featuring a range of men’s apparel and accessories. Key pieces including:
- A favorite of Tiger Woods, the Training Dry Hoodie was built upon his insights of needing a lightweight versatile piece—especially in the Florida heat. This is something he can throw it on and head out to the range to hit balls. Plus, it’s a cold-weather essential that won’t weigh him down, no matter what the unpredictable Florida weather has in store.
- The inception of the 3D Lightweight Hoodie stemmed from one of the first things Tiger told us when we started working together. He said,”I don’t want to feel like I’m wearing anything.” That became the driving force behind creating this innovative 3D knit piece. Tiger loves how the seamless construction allows him to transition from the course to high-profile events like late night TV appearances and charity functions.
Over time, Sun Day Red will broaden its global presence through wholesale expansion in key markets outside of North America, at retail, and broaden its product offering to include footwear, women and kids’ lines

With so many options at far better price points, tough sell to be over the $200 mark anymore. Don’t bother trying to tell me about it being a premium product, TMAG has economies of scale down, these likely cost under 10% to make of the asking retail price…

I’d sure like to try these this year, they sure do look like they will have some great cushion to them. Before Truelinkswear came along I wore mainly Adidas everything but the comfort of the TRUES were much better, but now looking at these I can’t wait to try these out and compare the two! Lots of great choices this year between FJ/Adidas/True/ Ecco finally there making both comfort and function that was lacking until TRUE changed the golf shoe industry.

I got 2 pairs of these shoes last month and could not be happier with them. Took them to AZ and right out of the box walked the Upper course at Whisper Rock and they felt as though I had them for a year. Walked 72 holes in 3 days and have no complaints at all. Great fit, and every bit as good, if not better, than the original AdiPure.
I do not understand the comments about the price. They are the premium shoe in the line, and I feel they are worth every penny. I have the brown color coming at the end of the month.

The comments about the price have to do with the fact that there are some really good, comfortable, shoes on the market for much less. Isn’t the DNA under $200?

I got my adipure for 350$ in 2012 so its good to see them going down in price. They are all leather so they look as new as the day i bought them. Just have to put leather conditioner on every 6 months and they will be as good as new for years. You cant beat how good they feel. I have played 2 rounds of golf and my feet still feel great. You get what you pay for when it comes to shoes!

Way too expensive!! Are they kidding with the price of shoes? And the bottoms of the shoes look like their less expensive shoes for some reason too (their other shoes look much more durable and grippy). As a big fan of the 360 ATV’s they’re probably comfortable but just too expensive.

Way too expensive… I like the design though. Comfort is important to me and the adizero line was just too thin all the way around and squished my feet too much. Love my FJ Sport BOAs. I’d rather have 2 pairs of those than 1 pair of these

this is just one of their options. It just so happens to be a premium product of theirs. They offer more affordable options as well.
