Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Pro Blue joins Tensei 1K lineup

Published

on

You’ve seen it in the bags of tour pros, including Valspar Championship winner, Taylor Moore. Now Mitsubishi is bringing 1K Pro Blue to retail. The company is adding to its 1K Pro lineup — which currently includes 1K Pro White and 1K Pro Orange.

Consistent with the company’s labeling conventions, 1K Pro Blue is a mid-launch, mid-spin offering.

“Anticipation for Tensei 1K Pro Blue has been building for a while now,” Mark Gunther, Senior Director Sales & Marketing said. “1K Pro White laid such a nice foundation for the family and 1K Pro Orange provided that great counterbalanced option, but there’s just nothing like a Blue profile to fit the largest swath of golfers out there. Tensei 1K Pro Blue carries that mid-mid mantle as good or better than any Blue we’ve ever done.”

Key technology

  • 1K carbon fiber: Super-premium material positioned in the handle of the shaft to reduce ovalization and improve center-face contact.
  • Xlink Tech Resin System: Increases the volume of carbon fiber for smoother feel without compromising durability.
  • MR70: The flagship Mitsubishi material strengthens the shaft for optimum loading throughout the swing.

Specs, pricing, availability

At retail: June 2023

MSRP: $500
