What club would be inducted first into your personal hall of fame? – GolfWRXers discuss
In our forums, our members have been discussing their all-time favorite club.
WRXer ‘DoughBack18’ kicks off the thread with the question: “What is the one club that you would induct first into your personal golf hall of fame? Maybe the club you used to make your first hole in one, or the putter you’ve used forever and shot your career low round with..”, and their pick:
“I would induct my Cleveland 588 53* Diadic wedge. Hit countless range balls working on a 3/4, 100 yard shot… I literally built my entire golf game around learning to hit that club consistently. It still has the smallest wear mark of any club I’ve owned, and I knew if I had that club in my hand, I was throwing a dart (whether I actually did, results may vary)… It was a sad day for me when those became non-conforming. But the Diadic rests proudly in the HOF!”
And our members have been sharing the club they’d choose to induct into their personal hall of fame.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- Don Drake: “Ping Eye 2 LW BeCu. Undisputed G.O.A.T. of all golf clubs. If you can’t make that one work around the greens, you have to just quit the game. And yes, I have one, and yes, it still has some grooves left.”
- Avidswampthing66: “My old 845 Silver Scot 9 iron. 130 yard killer. Every time I had that shot it was a total confidence thing. Loved that golf club. I was 13.”
- NJBigFish22: “TM Burner 7W. God, I miss that club.”
- tomathist: “Nike Vapor Fly Pro 4 iron – a fairway finder which constantly gives me 190-210 yards when my driver doesn’t work so well.”
