Golf's Perfect Imperfections
Golf’s Perfect Imperfections: The ultra-modern game, courtesy of the launch monitor

There are life and game-altering moments that occur in one’s existence, and after 43 years in the game of golf, I’m witnessing the launch monitor’s era, and I welcome the change with open arms. The most important thing for my job is my student’s happiness; they improve their swings, they stripe the ball more solidly more often, they are happier, they find the equipment that suits them. Moreover, I want students to improve the consistency and feel even more of their strike. They are even more comfortable. For me, it’s essential to have both.

Golf’s Perfect Imperfections: Responsible speed training for sustainable personal bests

It is truly awesome what is happening with Bryson DeChambeau and Kyle Berkshire and more of their young friends who are in shape are joining the bandwagon. But at an all-out slash fest trying to get 160mph ball speed with a 7-iron for a two-hour session would send 90% of us to the hospital. It’s safe to say it is not for everyone. To increase your clubhead speed responsibly long term really starts with us.

Golf’s Perfect Imperfections: Putting Wisdom

Whether in a tournament or a friendly round of golf looking at the hole is simply not enough you must see the golf ball roll in on the side of the hole or must role in on. At the speed you want to see it roll in on, to give you permission to enter the hole. Permission to enter. Not permission to approach the hole.
