Here at GolfWRX, the world’s largest online golf community, we are on the lookout for content creators who share our passion for the game of golf and who can help us continue to grow and evolve. Professional experience is not required to join our team, but what we need are people that have a love for the game and a commitment to improving their journalistic skills.
Whether you are a lifelong golf junkie with strong opinions or a writer, blogger or vlogger looking for a platform to showcase your ability and create a powerful following, GolfWRX could be the place for you.
Through our Featured Writers Program, we’re offering content creators an excellent opportunity to work directly with GolfWRX Editors, who work daily with top professionals in the game, and to create a following through our enormous audience on a schedule of their choice.
- As many as 2 million unique views per month.
- Up to 20 million page views per month.
Still not convinced? Here are three reasons why you should consider writing for us.
Week in and week out, GolfWRX is visited by some of the most important people in the golf industry. Company executives, top instructors, club fitters and Tour players regularly visit the site, which makes GolfWRX the perfect place to make a name for yourself.
Featured Writers have their content published on the GolfWRX Front Page. It’s also shared through our social media channels and added to our weekly newsletters for the world’s largest online golf community to enjoy and share with their friends. Your work will be seen by a whole host of fans of the game, as well as professionals.
As a Featured Writer, you will have the opportunity to create a custom Author Page, which appears at the bottom of each of your articles, where you can showcase your experience, credentials and achievements. In your Author Bio, you will also have the opportunity to plug your social media platforms, which gives you the chance to build an online presence along with a professional portfolio of work.
GolfWRX Editors will work with you to improve your skills, grow your connections and develop a mind for maximum impact. Here at GolfWRX, we will do all we can to make sure you fulfill your journalistic potential.
If you’re a talented content creator who is frustrated that their work isn’t getting the exposure that you feel it deserves, then here at GolfWRX we can change that for you. Openings exist in every media platform. How you choose to showcase your skills is up to you.
If you’re interested in joining our team, send two writing/vlog samples and three story ideas to our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How it works
After we set up your writer profile, any time you have a story idea, fill out this “Headline” form. In it, we ask you for the headline and a brief description of the story you want to write. Once we receive the submission, we will either approve the concept and provide our feedback, or deny the submission and explain why within 24 hours! If the story is approved, you will then fill out this “Story” form where you will write the final headline, the body of the story, and provide images to supplement the story with visuals (there are minimum requirements for photos, so make sure to read the directions carefully). You will then submit your story via the story form and it will enter our queue for edits and publishing.
