Published

on

They’re now in tour players’ hands, and GolfWRX took some in-hand photos of the 913F and 913H.

We captured them in the Titleist tour van and on the range at the 2012 Barclays at Bethpage Black.

Some photos are below.

Waiting to get paid so i can go and pick me up a 913H to go along with my new 913 D3 i just recently got. Never had i thought of playing with Titleist clubs but iam SO GLAD that i have seen the light. Just recently got the 913 D3 driver and LOVE LOVE LOVE it way better than the Nike Covert Tour i was playing. Now time to get me a Hybrid. Sadly though i cant switch irons I love my Mizzy MP-64s way to much haha

They look they are set standard with an almost closed look to the face. In last year’s model I believe there were only 2 “click” options to open it up. I wonder if it will be like this for this years club.

Cant wait for these bad boys to be released. Already talking to my guys at fairwaygolfusa.com about what shafts I need to put on them but might have to keep my Graphite Design BB’s from my 910’s. I got a chance to hit these and all I can say is that they feel hotter off the face than the 910’s.

Aside from the hybrid driver and the “low spin” on the fairway driver, what are the improvements over last years?

are the adaptors the same? so basically can you reuse premium shafts from the 910f?

Is it a 913H or a H-D on picture #15? It looks so tiny and awesome.

I like how they added the 913Hd this year. The 913H is definitely going on my Christmas list though.

What GolfWRXers are saying about the best 3/4 woods off the tee

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing the best 3/4 woods to use off the tee. WRXer ‘5hort5tuff’ is on the hunt for an “easy to hit fairway off the tee”, and is looking for suggestions from releases from the last five years. Our members discuss.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • TigerinTheWoods: “Sim Max has been amazing for me off tee and deck.”
  • Dpavs: “Rogue FW off the tee works for me.”
  • cw1209: “TM Sim and Cobra Big Tour. Don’t overlook less loft for a fairway wood mostly dedicated to shots off the tee.”
  • ZacR88: “My new Ping G400 3 wood with Hzrdus Black shaft is absolutely without a doubt, the best 3 wood I have ever used.”
  • Tampajoe3: “Callaway Epic Flash has my vote. It’s an important weapon in my bag. I did, however, have to add some lead tape to bump up the swing weight a little.”

GolfWRX Classifieds (08/03/20): PXG Proto, Bettinardi putter, and one very expensive Scotty Cameron

Published

on

At GolfWRX, we love golf equipment plain and simple.

We are a community of like-minded individuals that all experience and express our enjoyment for the game in many ways. It’s that sense of community that drives day-to-day interactions in the forums on topics that range from best driver to what marker you use to mark your ball, it even allows us to share another thing – the equipment itself.

One of the best ways to enjoy equipment is to experiment and whether you are looking to buy-sell-or trade (as the name suggests) you can find almost anything in the GolfWRX BST Forum. From one-off custom Scotty Cameron Circle T putters, to iron sets, wedges, and barely hit drivers, you can find it all in our constantly updated marketplace.

These are some of the latest cool finds from the GolfWRX BST, and if you are curious about the rules to participate in the BST Forum you can check them out here: GolfWRX BST Rules

Member jeffbang62 – PXG 0811X Proto driver

In the case of the new prototype PXG driver, fewer weights actually means more adjustability. So if you are looking to do some adjusting to your long game, this could be your new weapon off the tee.

Member Wannabescratch – Bettinrdi SS8 Center Shaft

Here we have a Bettinardi Studio Stock SS8 CS with deep etched Bettinardi Jumbo Grip. If you know putters, then you know Bettinardi means business—and this wand means business.

Member TheBoomer – Rare Timeless Scotty Cameron

In the age of social media, the phrase “now that’s something you don’t see every day” has, in some ways, lost a bit of its meaning, but in the case of this putter, it applies.
