Graphite Design Tour AD DI Shaft

Published

on

Graphite Design Premium Tour AD DI – Deep Impact Shaft is designed to provide more power and stability, the Tour AD DI shaft, manufactured exclusively at Graphite Design Japan, has been integrated with Toray Company’s new Nanotechnology material in the tip section of the shaft.

This unique tip technology creates optimal launch and spin conditions to produce increased accuracy and distance. Tour players have been impressed by the fact that when using the Tour AD DI shaft they can increase ball speed and accuracy without giving up distance. The mid bend profile of the Tour AD DI allows the player to load the shaft properly, yet maintains a firm enough tip section through impact, producing optimal spin and launch conditions. Golfers using the shaft will experience the feel of the ball leaving the club head with a lot of speed while maintaining exceptional feel and control.

Players are giving it a try in their drivers and then using it in their fairway woods as well. We designed this shaft to deliver players to the next level in shaft performance and create an impressive impact on their games and we feel we have succeeded in that mission.”

The AD-Di is a very consistent shaft. I play the Di 7x…silky smooth feel, loads and unloads well and produces a nice flat, mid trajectory the rolls out a mile. Love this shaft in my 910D3!!!

Great shaft. I put it on my 910 D2 in June. Big numbers due to errant drives disappeared. My handicap has dropped 6 strokes since then.

This shaft has great feel, but for my swing it wasnt for me. I just felt like I had to wait on it.

This really is an amazing shaft. It remains stiff enough for me but has such a great feel. Something that I’ve never experienced with a driver shaft. Normally you don’t find stiff enough but plenty of feel.

Spotted: SuperStroke Pistol Lock 1.0 & 2.0 grips

Published

on

SuperStroke’s Pistol series is one of its more popular models with an oversized — but still traditional — shape that fits in the hands comfortably.

This week, we spotted a new grip on the practice green at the Cognizant Classic with the “Pistol” name but a little different shape. The traditional pistol shape flares out into the palm on the upper hand and usually has a flat top for your thumb to rest easily. The new grips feature two sizes at the moment, the 1.0 and 2.0, with the latter looking significantly larger.

This new Pistol Lock grip looks to have a similar flat top and flared-out back in the upper hand like the original. The taper to the upper hand looks to start further down the shaft and has a more pronounced shape at the top of the grip. The lower-hand section also might look to have a touch more taper to it, but sometimes these shapes are hard to tell from just photos. Here are the new Pistol Lock grips next to the current Pistol.
