Bettencourt puts RocketBladez Tour irons in his bag
Matt Bettencourt is playing a set of TaylorMade RocketBladez Tour irons at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., making him one of the first players on the PGA Tour to game the heavily publicized new irons.
Bettencourt ranks fourth from last on Tour in greens in regulation (187th), so it will be interesting to see how long he plays the irons, and if his stats improve.
Check out the photos we snapped of his equipment at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Classic at Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Are these similar to the retail version coming out or are they like a tour issue B version?

Taylor Made just makes blocky looking irons. They are not clean at address. Glad I’m playing a real blade.

I really like the looks, but those MUST be some type of tour version – there’s no way those have the same offset as retail.

i see these irons have traditional lofts unlike the standard irons as per the TM website – i wonder what the ‘real’ distance gains are on these compared 2 a blade or forged cavity back iron…….. hmmmmfff???!??!???!??
