Here are some early looks of the new Cleveland 588 RTX Wedges for 2013. He have heard from an insider that has hit them…

A couple things…

1. they test EVERY groove, and they are maxed. The RTX milling is rough, but will not wear. As one of their designers said, the USGA really screwed up when they made the rule so absolute. Nothing about face roughness, just groove volume and shape.

2. Yes, I’ve hit them. It’s like having your grooves back. A stunning leap forward (or backward, depending on your view!)

    SO they are making the 588 FORGED wedge with the Rotex face? IF so when will those be coming out?

    They are not forged, and just came out a couple weeks ago.
