WITB Notes: We spotted Vijay with 15 clubs in his bag while testing fairway woods at the Valspar Championship. At the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he had JPX-900 Tour irons in the bag early in the week, and MP-4 irons in the bag by Wednesday. We’ll keep an eye on the irons he decides to play going forward.

  1. I’ve seen a few guys lately with Mizuno irons with multiple numbers on the sole. Curious why this is the case. My guess is they must be bent weak and instead of hitting his 8 iron less than what he’s used to he’s stroking his ego a little bit and putting 9 on it too. Can anyone confirm that’s why they do this?
