The photo shows a 48 degree Cleveland. Why would he have that and a PW? Isn’t the 48 basically a PW?

they werent. They had steps like a steel shaft and the nippon logo on em! I kept trying to get a better look but they didnt really show a close up.

Correct but the 2-3i are 20*-23* which means in today’s irons are a 3-4 iron. The PW is the 48* as he is a 3 wedge player to have the extra top end number. Too each their own but his lofts fit, as weird as it is. WITB shoukd really have listed it as 5-9i then 48-54-60* wedges.
