Still want Sergio to win a Major – He’s solid and only lacks in putting. He can do it – Maybe this is the year he scores one of the big ones (British Open I hope).

What’s his driver length ? Announcers said 43″ but it looked longer than that. I know he’s been known for playing around 43.5″ but thought in recent years he was up to around 44.5″.

He talked about not having his best today with two balls in the water. What portion I saw he missed several putts for birdie down the stretch that would have made for a special round…w/o his best stuff. Good win he needs to be at Ryder Cup for sure.

Why do guys bend wedges? Like why not just get a 50 & 58? I know it changes the bounce, is that the only reason?
Aaron

I believe in Sergio’s instance the bounce would be the reason, yes. He is not only looking for the loft to properly gap his wedges but if you do a little research on Sergio you’ll find out that he is really hands on with setting up his equipment and even grinds his clubs himself.

It changes the offset, too, I believe
