Puma’s IGNITE shoes, now available in three different models

Published

on

Puma has established itself as a household name in the golf shoe market, consistently combining the comfort, performance and style that golfers enjoy. As golf fashion has become more hip and athletic, Puma has been at the forefront of the movement. And its latest entry into the market is the Ignite shoe line, consisting of TITANTOUR Ignite, Ignite Spikeless and TITANTOUR Ignite Premium.

IgniteShoesPumaLine

With its new line of shoes, Puma introduces “Ignite” foam in the midsoles, said to provide energy return, responsiveness, added comfort and cushioning.

Check out each of the models below, and visit Puma’s website for more information.

Ignite Spikeless ($120)

IgniteSpikeless

Spikeless shoes have become popular for golfers in recent years because of their casual comfort, both on and off the golf course. Puma’s latest, the Ignite Spikeless, incorporate the energy-responsive Ignite foam in its sole, and GripZone traction on the soles, by way of 39 hexagonal and 24 chevron-shaped spikes for multi-directional traction, according to Puma.

With a comfort collar around the top of the shoe and full-grain leather in the toe, the multi-material shoe looks cool, and promises comfort and performance, too.

They’re currently available in three color ways: (Green-White-Blue), (White, Gray, Red) and Black-Black-White).

TITANTOUR Ignite ($160)

IgniteTitanTour

Puma’s TITANTOUR Ignite shoes are for golfers who want a more traditional style of shoe, but they’re still packed with technology for performance and comfort. In the sole of the shoe, the shoes have Ignite foam, a thermoplastic polyurethane “PWRframe” that encases the foam — providing stability, traction and durability — and traditional spikes for those that want more stability than the spikeless offering. They also use “DuoFlex” between the spikes, supporting the movement of your foot on different terrains and during the swing.

The shoes are made with a full-grain upper, and are currently available in three color ways; (Black-White-Gray), (White-Green-Blue) and (Black-Black-Gray).

TITANTOUR Ignite Premium ($190)

PumaIgnitePremiumShoes

Puma’s TITANTOUR Ignite Premium have all of the technology as the TITANTOUR Ignite shoes, but offer a more premium look and feel. They’re made with a full-grain, aniline leather upper, with pigskin lining and heavy gauge thread. The Ignite Premiums also have a “PWRcool” sole system powered by Outlast that regulates temperature by absorbing moisture and releasing heat.

They’re also offered in three color ways; (Brown-Brown-Brown), (White-Gray-Black) and (Beige-Gray-Green), and will be available in mid-February, according to Puma’s website.

Very disappointed in comfort. Neither is very good. Last years TitanTours were much better

Did you try the Ignite Spikeless? I have the Biofusion Mesh from a few years back; today I tried on the Spikeless and I don’t think I’ve ever worn a shoe, golf or otherwise, that’s more comfortable. I was about to order a pair of black BioFly’s, but I’m sitting on it and getting the Ignites.

I have had a pair of the Ignite Spikeless for three rounds and they are fantastic.

Equivalent to the Eccom Biom for better than half price.

The Bio lineup looks okay. The rest, meh… They look like something from Payless.
