Nike unveils sleek Hyperadapt Wind jacket

Published

on

For most of us the golf season is just around the corner, but with the warmer weather comes wind and rain. To help combat the elements this year, Nike Golf has introduced the Hyperadapt Wind jacket. Nike said it designed the jacket to fit and move with your body to maximize the range of motion in a golf swing.

In the past, golfers had to often go a size up in their wind and rain gear to keep their upper body movement free. What came along with that larger size was extra fabric and noise that can take away from the game. In an effort to create a better golfer, Nike strategically placed stretchy, laminate panels through the back, shoulders and upper arms that it said will allow your body to move more naturally. A transparent nylon outer layer (that received its design cue from an exotic sports car) protects against the inclement weather while showing off the internal technological details in addition to providing UV protection.

Nike has featured a half-zip closure, a breathable mesh v-panel on the back, zippered side pockets and elastic cuffs to help a golfer in unfavorable conditions. Nike also bonded the seams of the jacket to reduce irritation and provide extra protection from the elements, to ensure a wind-proof and rain-resistant product.

Nike’s Hyperadapt Wind jacket is currently available with a suggested retail price of $100 in three colors: black, light base grey/black, and venom green/black.
