L.A.B Golf launches new Mezz.1 Max putter

Published

on

L.A.B. Golf has today launched the Mezz.1 Max, a supersized version of Mezz.1 that is designed to deliver maximum stability.

“The goal of everything we do at L.A.B Golf is to make putting easier and more fun,” said L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn. “Our customers write to us all the time saying how they used to hate putting, and now they’re enjoying it. We want to make it easy for every golfer to switch to a L.A.B. Golf putter. So if you’re looking for increased stability, additional customization, or both – all in a putter that stays square by itself – we’re delivering it with Mezz.1 Max and Mezz.1.”

Mezz.1 Max Putter

The Mezz.1 Max is 20% larger than Mezz.1 to make it almost as stable as the company’s hugely forgiving DF 2.1. It’s available for Standard-Length, ArmLock, and Broomstick builds.

Like Mezz.1, the Mezz.1 Max uses a multi-material construction to create optimal stability. Its midsection is crafted from 303 stainless to give it a steel-like feel at impact.

Its wing-shaped putter body, which is made from 6061 aircraft aluminum, expands its sweet spot across the face in design to negate the impact of mishits. Both are also fully CNC milled from solid billets in a bid to offer golfers the highest level of precision.

Like all L.A.B. Golf putters, the Mezz.1 Max is hand-balanced one at a time by L.A.B. Golf craftsman in Eugene, Oregon. Each putter is individually weighted based on its length, lie angle, and shaft model to ensure the putters are perfectly Lie Angle Balanced and will stay square by themselves.

Mezz.1 Max builds for ArmLock and Broomstick putters have sixteen sole weights – twice the amount of a standard-length Mezz.1 – to meet the headweight demands of ArmLock and Broomstick builds. The standard-length Mezz.1 Max features eight sole weights but is visually identical to the ArmLock and Broomstick version at address.

In addition, the company is also launching new color and weight options for its new Mezz.1 Max and Mezz.1: black, platinum, red, blue, cappuccino, and orange. While with the Mezz.1 Max Custom and Mezz.1 Custom, golfers will be able to specify their head weight preference for the first time between Standard, Heavy, and Light.

The Mezz.1 Max Custom and Mezz.1 Custom putters start at $559. The Mezz.1 Max Stock ($469) and Mezz.1 Stock ($449) will be available in L.A.B. Golf’s most popular length and lie configurations with a premium steel shaft. All of which can be purchased here.
