Tour Edge Exotics Interview & Pics

Published

on

Underrated? Cult following?

Maybe both describe Tour Edge.

You always hear they’re long, but they’re also forgiving. The XCG5 woods line is solid and the new iron sets – CB Forged and CU — look good in person. Enjoy.

Well I play the CB4 and have been since it displaced my CB3, lol. But seriously I’d like to try this 2 wood out. So if anyone at TEE would like to have a GHIN 2.7 handicapper demo and review the club, I’d be more then happy too. I doubt it could de bag my CB4 but I would like to try this new 2 wood as well as the New CB5. The CB4 is one heck of a 3wood! great job guys, Greg with the interview and TEE with making some of the best woods in the industry IMHO.

    Thanks, Tim

I purchased my first Exotics 3-wood(xcg-5) last spring. I was never able to hit a 3-wood off the fairway consistently. These exotics are by far the very best on the market. I now have a 5-wood and a 7-wood and just purchased another 3-wood 11.5 degrees that I will use as my driver on a lot of tee shots at Colorado Golf Club which measures almost 7,100 yds from the member tees. I carry no hybrids. My 7-wood is my money club for long 200+ par 3s. My handicap fluctuates between a 12 and a 15. These clubs are so easy to hit and control with massive distance.

anyone who knocks exotics has obviously never hit one …the fairway woods are absolutely amazing…I will never play any other fairway wood…I would put the cb3-cb4 up against any fairway on the market.

Chris, I would like to know your skill level and experience with these clubs alike, really! Expensive: but for the price (retail, not internet) some of the Exotics 3 woods and hybrids are off the chart long. These clubs are not for the average player. Some of the OEM’s are just starting to catch up, e.g., Taylor Made RBZ. The regular line, Tour Edge, with a caveat also has a couple of wedges and hybrids that are very affordable and play very, very well for average and skilled players alike. Metrybill
