‘You won’t be missed’ – Pro rips Kevin Na over PGA Tour resignation

Published

on

The ongoing feud between Kevin Na and Grayson Murray continues.

Back in January Murray replied to a tweet from Golf Channel’s Chantel McCabe. In the tweet, McCabe wrote: “Kevin Na walking in putts does not get old.” Murray replied to the tweet, commenting on Na’s slow play: “Kevin Na taking 3 minutes to putt them does get old.” Na retorted: “U missing the cut is getting old!”

Then, at the Mexico Open, the two were involved in a shouting match which almost came to blows according to Murray.

Last week, Kevin Na announced to his fans via Twitter that he would no longer be playing on the PGA Tour after joining the controversial LIV Golf Series.

Grayson Murray took the opportunity to take another shot at Na by saying “our rounds just got 20 min faster!”

During their dispute at the Mexico Open, Murray yelled at Na: ““I told him, if he goes and plays in the Saudi League, no one’s going to miss him on this Tour.”

Now, Na has given fans the opportunity to see if those remarks hold true.

Let’s look at their tax returns at the end of the year, specifically, the income line. Murray is a nobody on the tour who will never win as many events as Na has.

You are a Class A a$$hole… making a comment about a recovering alcoholic says more about you than it does about Grayson.

Honestly I didn’t even remember this douchebag Grayson existed. I won’t miss Na because I’m not a huge fan, and while I don’t agree with his decision it was HIS decision. But Grayson Murray? Win something, make a name for yourself. Don’t grab the spotlight by starting some bs with someone people actually recognize.

This guy should quite being a turd and start drinking like a man. Winners can drink without using it as an excuse for your faults. Man up dude. Quite worrying about NA and start playing some better golf on the Big tour. Real dudes don’t use drinking as a crutch, get another therapist or come up with better excuses for playing bad golf. Weak minded homeboys don’t succeed. Poor you

  8. Bobs correct.

    Jun 7, 2022 at 4:46 pm

Imagine a scenario that makes Grayson correct. And here we are. As stupid as he is. He’s correct. I admired Na. But anymore I just don’t know. It’s not about the taking of money. It’s blowing up the american tour for generations to come. He just helped shit where he’s been eating. And poisoned the well for the ones coming up.

How is everyone missing the point? It’s not about Grayson or Kevin. It’s about players being bribed with Saudi STATE FUNDED blood money. It’s the EXACT SAME as if the Liv Tour was funded with money from the child porn or human trafficking industry. Saudi Gov’t says that if you wife commits adultery, she can be executed by public beheading. If you’re gay you WILL be executed if caught. This isn’t a place we want to support in any way. Rory gets it. Billy Horschel gets it, and Tiger gets it. (he was offered near a billion to sign on).

Saying that joining is acceptable because they have families to support is ridiculous. GO GET A TRADITIONAL JOB and have some scruples.

FedEx is investing $400,000,000 into Saudi Arabia over the next decade. Is that more or less than their are putting into the PGA tour?

Are you boycotting the nba because they’re in bed w/ China?

    • John is wrong

      Jun 19, 2022 at 5:46 pm

That’s the law there. It’s a different place with a different religion and different customs. You can’t expect them to follow our laws and cultural norms. You don’t have the right to commit adultry or to be a homosexual in SA. Just because it’s acceptable here doesn’t mean it should be accepted everywhere. That’s a very bigoted way to look at things on your part.

Good guy? Taking your paycheck from the Saudis is the 100% equivalent of knowing your paycheck was funded from the child p*rnography industry…or human trafficking industry. The only thing good about the Liv Tour is it shines a light on which players have a moral compass.

Bryson’s current situation with Cobra revealed as he uses TaylorMade driver at Saudi International

Published

on

At this week’s Saudi International, Bryson DeChambeau surprised golf fans by putting TaylorMade’s Stealth Plus 2 driver in the bag. Bryson has been a long time staffer at Cobra Golf and it was a shock to see the 28-year-old with a driver from a different OEM to begin his season.

A post shared by Sporting Insights (@sms_on_tour)

Per Dan Rapaport of Barstool Sports, a Cobra rep has confirmed that Bryson is simply out of contract with the brand, but that the two parties are currently in discussion about this year and the future.

In our forums, our members have been discussing the changeup from DeChambeau, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • FifeRiviera: “Honestly Cobra woods are the single most underrated pieces of equipment on the market.”
  • Lacey Underall: “Just my guess – everyone on LIV will be an equipment free agent soon.”
  • KimmerBH: “Never been a fan of Bryson but I do miss seeing him play every week along with some others that went to LIV. He was definitely entertaining to watch, I’ll give him that.”

‘Sums up my life in the golf industry’ – Paige Spiranac on polarizing Phil Mickelson tweet

Published

on

After a long break from Twitter, Phil Mickelson was extremely active on Twitter yesterday. His resurgence resulted in the golf world reacting for most of the day.

Paige Spiranac used one of Phil’s tweets to “sum up” what it was like to be a female in the golf industry.

The tweet seemed to be a joke, and to be clear the tweet Phil shared wasn’t directed towards Spiranac, yet some Lefty detractors weighed in calling the tweet “misogynistic.”

The full context of the tweet is here:

We can be sure that as long as Mickelson is this active on Twitter, the app will be buzzing with golf personalities and their reactions.

‘The hypocrisy is astounding’ – Phil Mickelson takes aim at RBC for missing logo at Saudi International

Published

on

This morning, Cameron Young played the first round of this week’s Saudi International at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club.

As noticed by Twitter user “EPatGolf”, the 25-year-old PGA Tour player was missing the RBC logo that is typically on his sleeve.

Patterson speculated that the reason for the missing logo was RBC’s reluctance to be associated with golf being played in Saudi Arabia.

Never a stranger to controversy, Phil Mickelson weighed in on the topic, accusing RBC of hypocrisy.

Mickelson has been extremely active on Twitter lately and replied to a Danny Woodhead tweet just a short while ago about a potential LIV vs PGA Tour match with Tiger Woods and Phil as captains, even managing a little dig at his long-time foe.
