Three Swing Challenge: Testing the Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks A+ grind
The first wedge has made its way to the Three Swing Challenge! This week we have the WedgeWorks A+ grind that was recently released by Vokey. BK is looking for a new 60-degree wedge, and this could be a contender.
Why three swings?
Many years ago, the legendary Barney Adams, founder of Adams Golf told us this:
“My formula as a fitter was three shots only. I discounted No. 1 just because it was the first one, counted 100 percent of No. 2 and discounted No. 3 because the player was starting to adjust.”

Clement: Weak grips are injuries in the making for many golfers
Like Jordan Spieth, trying to go to a bowed wrist at the top or in the downswing to square the club is placing you in a dangerous position for your lead wrist; you are one tree root or deep rough situation away from a nasty injury that could easily require surgery. Don’t let this be you.

I like this “stream of consciousness” format. Surely it cuts down on editing work for you as well.
Nice trick with the hat to mark the ball in the hazard, have to copy that.

I’ve known him for over 15 years and he is legitimately long as I’ve personally seen him make drives of over 320 yards on carry alone. He owes much of his distance to the late Mike Austin.
