Club Junkie: Reviewing TaylorMade’s NEW SIM2 woods and hybrids!

Published

on

TaylorMade’s new SIM2 woods and hybrids are out and I have had them on the range to test. SIM2 seems to offer better shots on mishits throughout the line, keeping those shots in play better than last year. Everything seems to be improved in one way or another and I personally love the SIM2 Max driver and fairway!

Club Junkie: Odyssey Ten putter review and hitting the new Callaway Apex Pro irons

Published

on

Reviewing the new Odyssey Ten putters, and I like the overall look compared to last year’s model. The shape is a little more squared off and simple, less distracting. Callaway’s new Apex Pro irons offer a lot of distance and forgiveness in a small package, but do they feel as good as other players irons?

Club Junkie: The softest forged irons you’ve never heard of and the Cobra RadSpeed hybrid!

Published

on

Ever heard of New Level Golf? If you are looking for wildly soft players irons, then you should check them out. The PF-1 blades and the PF-2 cavity backs are as soft as anything on the market right now. Great irons for skilled players.

The Cobra RadSpeed hybrid is a solid mid/high launching hybrid with a solid Cobra feel and sound. Pretty neutral-bias ball flight with only a slight draw.

Club Junkie: 3-wood battle | Fujikura’s new Vista Pro shafts are really good!

Published

on

The new Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour and Honma TR21 Big-LB are larger fairways that can be great for hitting off the tee as well as the turf. The RadSpeed is a low spin and low launch head while the Honma is more mid-launch and spin.

Fujikura’s new Vista Pro shafts are wildly good for their price. Very consistent with a solid feel and great responsiveness. Vista Pro wood, hybrid, and iron shafts are offered in a bunch of weights and flexes to fit any player.
