What GolfWRXers are saying about Jason Dufner’s Axis 1 putter at this week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic

Published

on

In our forums, the spotlight has been shone on Jason Dufner’s Axis 1 putter from this week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic. Dufner has lost strokes at both events with his flat-stick since the PGA Tour’s restart, and it looks as if he is trying to find his groove on the greens in Detroit with the Axis 1. Our members have been having their say on the switch.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Weezer2: “He’s searching far and wide. I hope he finds it.”
  • nova6868: “I don’t know Justin Rose has had it in the bag for a long time now, and he was doing pretty well.”
  • pga43: “Luke List won a couple of weeks ago on the Korn Ferry Tour with an Axis 1.”

‘Why no love for Mizuno wedges?’ – GolfWRXers discuss

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing Mizuno wedges. WRXer ‘Adam C’ is a big fan of the brand’s wedges and is perplexed as to why they seemingly don’t get more love:

“If nothing ‘feels’ like a Mizuno, I don’t understand how the irons can get so much play but not the wedges? I love my Mizuno wedges. Am I missing something?”

Our members have been sharing their thoughts on the company’s wedges in our forum, with many WRXers being fans of the clubs.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Reds: “I have the T20s and really like them. I’ve always preferred Ping wedges but gave these a try when I got my MMCs. The check nice on pitches from tight lies, and the shape fits my eye.”
  • Bye: “I had a set of T-4’s. They felt great, but I still think Vokey has the best range.”
  • MTgolfer: “I think it’s just because they are not known for them. And I agree. I think they’re a little weird looking.”
  • lefty1978: “I love Mizuno, but I mostly play Vokey for more options and grinds. Mizuno wedges are nice, feel is great, would have zero problem playing them. I really like the S18’s, felt better than the T7 or T20s to me. I still throw the S18 52 in from time to time. Best Mizuno wedges ever were the MP Series from the mid 2000’s; they felt exactly like the irons.”
