Forum Thread of the Day: “What clubs in your bag are SAFE?”
Today’s Forum Thread of the Day comes from Millhill88 who like most WRXers, loves to tinker with his bag set-up. However, Millhill88 does have some clubs in his bag that he won’t be taking out before the end of the year, and he asks fellow members which clubs are currently safe and won’t be removed from their bags any time soon.

My F6 Baffler has been automatic since it came out too when I pull the club I know exactly what’s about to happen. And so far my F9 I got this year has been the driver for me. Finally not struggling to get off the tee.”

Sure I’m off to try a Scotty today, but I’ve putted lights out with my anser, my vokeys are safe, driver is safe, hybrid is 14 years old yet still in the bag, five wood is safe. The only question mark is my irons as they’re coming up on six years in the bag. I’m wondering if I’m leaving something on the table.”
- mwink822: “Most of my bag is safe but for wedges. I may be adding either Cleveland RTX4 wedges or Vokeys in the near future. Not that the Mizunos have been bad, but they’re getting to that point in their life where replacement may be wise.”
- shanx: “I have had the same pair of wedges forever (TM RAC Raw tour grooves copper). I got them off the infamous BSG back in the day, don’t see any reason to change them, other than the grooves are probably illegal. Everything else is subject to change.”

Nothing really that safe in my bag. I like to switch it up a lot and see what is working for me at the moment.

Got some special P750s that were built in the early stages that say Proto on the badge instead of P750 they’re a gem that won’t be leaving the bag anytime soon.

My putter is driving me nuts! Just replaced my Bettinardi QB6 with an Odyssey White Hot XG8 w/Rosemark 1.52 grip (put same grip on QB6). If that doesn’t work I have 6 more putters waiting for their chance to win some skins!

SIK Jo putter. Got it from Kenny Knox 7 years ago. It’s gnarled and bumped and scratches all over it but it’s the ideal putter for me.

My 712 AP2’s are safe forever. My Rife (Evenroll) putter is safe even longer. New Vokeys to replace old Vokeys. TM Driver, fairway and hybrids…not so much.
