Look at the tee marks in the cutout of the drive from the tee… you guys hit it in the middle that often? 😉

Thats crazy man. I was wondering what those marks were. All from tees, seriously?? Hahaha, thats friggen nuts, just nuts!!

I thought Tiger was beaten up with the 5-iron ……. looks like it was actually the putter …..

Well, at least the putter face has solid impact wear that’s visible.

Those irons look like my VR Pro II blades. Great to see a pretty traditional bag. No GAPR or P760 long iron?

Milled sole – ugly, marketing hype, grooves possibly interfering with working the ball left/right.
Tungsten in the head – Where exactly. I don’t believe what I can’t see. How the heck did they put it in the “forged” head in the first place?

Is it just me or is there a crack in his driver just to the left of the speed pocket and underneath the weight track?
I know i’ve had issues with my M1 and M3 cracking in the composite material in the past

It is a cracking driver …. but it’s just you

What I notice is that his irons don’t have the milling on the soles that the retail versions have.
Brandon Hanson
Jun 12, 2019 at 2:07 am
This is exactly what I was thinking! I watched the Project Tiger show the other night and they made a big deal about how Tigers soles would be milled grind and yet the pics say otherwise.

Jun 12, 2019 at 8:54 am
It’s very possible that his irons are milled (for consistency), but then sanded and polished to remove the milling marks for a better look. They could have done this with the already pricey retail version, but then costs and price would have jumped even further.

This could have been any pro’s bag in 1987, so perfect.
Gap wedge? Nah, PW is fine thanks.

Jun 11, 2019 at 8:08 pm
Exactly Steve, his PW is 49-50*, and he has the same 3-PW lofts he’s played since he was a kid.
He doesn’t want to hit clubs further he wants to hit a yardage. Long before the 7,9,11 woods and hybrids in every loft came along.
Kids of the future follow TW’s lead and simplify this game.

The game is just as simple for anyone. They just have different numbers on the bottom. Nothing else is different. If does not matter if it is a 6 or a 7. If you know it is 35 degrees of loft what’s the difference?
CrashTestDummy
Jun 12, 2019 at 1:57 am
True. That is a big gap between 48 and 56 to make up with partial swings. Extremely tough to be accurate with all the yardages in between. That is why they are the pros.
Travis
Jun 11, 2019 at 6:01 pm
His 3 wood says 15* on it, not a 13*. He may have it lofted down or a different true loft but then you should state his adapter settings with the correct loft. I get you guys are busy but don’t get lazy with the details.

This drives me nuts. Why is it so difficult to flip the club around? I want to see wear spots!
