Bettinardi to release limited-edition BB1 Sound Slot Tiki Putter

Published

on

Bettinardi Golf is launching its limited edition 2019 BB1 Sound Slot Tiki Putter, of which just 250 will be available worldwide.

Just like their limited edition putters from 2018, the newest edition from Bettinardi will once again contain a Hawaiian theme to coincide with the PGA Tour’s opening event of the year, the Sentry Tournament of Champions – with face milling that resembles the ocean waves along the Hawaiian coastline.

The new limited-release putters will feature a sound slot, milled into each putters sole, designed to offer a responsive sound at impact.

The 2019 BB1 Sound Slot Tiki Putter is made from soft carbon steel and milled to 350 grams. The flatstick features tribal-milling along the outer-neck, as well as a sole that displays a great white shark, which is hand painted in a Tiffany blue, pink and white color scheme.

The limited-run putter will feature Bettinardi’s Fancy F.I.T face technology, which aims to produce a soft feel at impact.

The putter is completed in a matte black PVD finish and comes equipped with a perforated black leather Gripmaster grip. The new edition from Bettinardi will also come with a matching Tiki headcover.

The 2019 Bettinardi BB1 Sound Slot Tiki Putter will be available to purchase from select Bettinardi speciality dealers worldwide and online at Bettinardi.com from January 10, 2019. The putters are limited to 250 worldwide and will cost $525.

Nice putter but I don’t know if I would buy something like a putter that you would use on every hole without even rolling it first just see how it feels!

Beautiful Betti putter with an equally beautiful turquoise accented headcover and worth every penny. I would be proud to have this beauty in my WITB arsenal of gonadal weapons to show off on the greens of the nation.

If I had to spend that much on a putter, I would rather get in touch with Machine putters and get a truly made-to-order stick. Bettinardi’s are nice, but they are basically stock putters. I do like the fact this particular putter is a soft-carbon head.

Machine is out of business, and if you wanted to order a complete custom with Betti you can, just contact their Hive Concierge. This is one of their 4 limited run “themed putters” they make every year.

Really? How come their website (doglegright.com) is still running with a 2019 copyright?

Ugly! Expensive! Unoriginal! Looks like you challenged a bunch of grade schoolers with crayons to come up with GRAPHICS for you and NOT an original design.

Hawaii is not Tiki. Hawaiians want you to know.
    Bettinardi sucks

This putter CRUSHES the Cameron releases.. Scott uses a head that hasn’t sold that well, changes the sole plate, grip, and headcover and calls it limited. You can see the craftsmanship oozing from the face milling, unique finish, design, sound slot (never offered at retail) and amazing headcover. I might not be a buyer just quite yet but this putter is awesome!

Translation: “Here’s an article about a product you can likely afford, but you cannot have. Enjoy!”

    Yuch.

It’s still funny to me that after 40 years, the Ping Anser is still the most successful design in golf history. Even today, designers keep going back to Karsten’s original ideas and manufacturing processes. Amazing!
