i really love the current trend of players using what they feel is best for their game. interesting to see Tiger go back to his Scotty after using Taylor Made clubs. i wonder how many other top pros are forced into clubs they dont really want to use. Who of us doesn’t like trying different clubs. don’t see why the top players would feel any different, im sure they get the thrill of a new club to see how it affects their games. for alot of us the game of golf is about the game and the gear we use. so much fun talking about both. doesn’t make much difference to our scores but great discussion during a round.

He definitely had a Callaway driver in play during the first round of the Farmers. Didn’t look like a Rogue (maybe an 816 Alpha??) but I didn’t get a good look during the three holes that I watched.

Yep, he has gamed the 816 DBD for a while. Even when Cally wanted him to play the Epic. Doubt he will change now that he has the freedom.
I do like seeing a mixed bag like this. Interesting to see what the best players in the world choose to play when they have the freedom to do so.
