Tuesday’s photos from the 2016 Safeway Open

GolfWRX is live this week from the Safeway Open at Silverado Golf & Spa (North course) in Napa Valley, California, where the course will play as a par-72 measuring 7,203 yards for the event.

Monday’s photos

This week was supposed to be Tiger Woods’ return to competitive golf after 14 months off, but Woods said on Monday that his game was “vulnerable” and decided to withdraw. The field at Safeway, however, remains packed with some of the biggest names in golf including Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Bryson DeChambeau, Bill Haas, Smylie Kaufman, Justin Thomas, Paul Casey, Wesley Bryan, Keegan Bradley and more.

Last year, Emiliano Grillo won in his PGA Tour rookie debut after holing a 25-footer on the 72nd hole of regulation, then eventually eclipsed Kevin Na in a two-hole playoff. Grillo will be back this year to defend his title.

The famed Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, is the scene this week for the Charles Schwab Challenge, where Ludvig Aberg enters the week as the tournament favorite.

Tour Photographer Greg Moore and our traveling equipment insider, Alistair Cameron, are both on site this week in the Lone Star State. Thus far, we’ve been treated to an in-hand look at TaylorMade’s new ZT Max putter, as well as a bounty of WITBs.

GolfWRX is on site this week for the final event of the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs: the Tour Championship

30 players will tee it up this week at East Lake, looking to get their hands on the Tour Championship as well as the FedEx Cup, which comes with a paycheck of $10 million. So far, we have plenty of photos for you to peruse, including Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland WITBs.

Photos from the 2022 PGA Show

GolfWRX was on site for the golf business’s annual winter rite: the PGA Merchandise Show.

While the weather was less than cooperative for demo day, there were no such difficulties inside the Orange County Convention Center. This isn’t to say there weren’t significant figurative headwinds influencing this year’s Show, but those are widely discussed elsewhere. Our duty here was merely to document, and that is what we did to the tune of more than 1,500 photos, below.
