Monday’s photos from the 145th Open Championship

GolfWRX is live this week from across the pond for the 145th Open Championship — or British Open, if you will — at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland. The course will play as a par-71 measuring 7,190 yards for the event.

Zach Johnson returns this year as the defending champion of the Claret Jug, as he won the 144th Open Championship at St. Andrews in a three-way playoff against Marc Leishman and Louis Oosthuizen.

The last time the Open was played at Royal Troon, Todd Hamilton emerged victorious, winning the first and only major championship of his career. He will be in this year’s field; can he capture the magic from 12 years ago?

Please. Can you guys refer to it by its real name. The Open Championship. The British don’t refer to the Us Open as the ‘American Cup’ do they?

The famed Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, is the scene this week for the Charles Schwab Challenge, where Ludvig Aberg enters the week as the tournament favorite.

GolfWRX is on site this week for the final event of the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs: the Tour Championship

30 players will tee it up this week at East Lake, looking to get their hands on the Tour Championship as well as the FedEx Cup, which comes with a paycheck of $10 million. So far, we have plenty of photos for you to peruse, including Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland WITBs.

GolfWRX was on site for the golf business’s annual winter rite: the PGA Merchandise Show.

While the weather was less than cooperative for demo day, there were no such difficulties inside the Orange County Convention Center. This isn’t to say there weren’t significant figurative headwinds influencing this year’s Show, but those are widely discussed elsewhere. Our duty here was merely to document, and that is what we did to the tune of more than 1,500 photos, below.
