You won’t believe how good Dash Day’s swing is

Published

on

Jason Day and his son Dash were recently at what appears to be a public driving range. Dash, with a mini M1 driver and a hockey grip, showed off his natural golf ability and golf-movie knowledge.

But forget the hilarious Happy Gilmore reference, check out that swing! It looks like his dad’s, and seemed to produce the same results, too — right down the middle.

It’s been nothing but wins for the Day family lately. Chalk another one in the win column for this awesome golf swing from Dash.

It’s a public driving range in Columbus. Jason and his family like it because no one bothers them. They’re treated like “normal” folks. As opposed to when they go to Muirfield where the “upper crust” is all over them. I’ve been in the cover stalls next to them and didn’t realize he was there until Jason started hitting 5 irons 200+ yards. The sound is unmistakable. Real nice guy, always smiles and says hello.

They are at a public range and it is not in Australia. It is in Jason’s hometown here in the states. I have seen Jason and Dash there at least seven or eight times. Jason does not bring clubs. He has used one of Dash’s clubs while on knees. Dash hits some balls and then upon leaving says ” bye mates ” to anyone around. Always well behaved and no special treatment ever expected.

I wonder why Day and Day’s kid are at a public driving range? With his dad’s clout, I’m sure he can practice at Taylormade’s “Kingdom” in Carlsbad.

Not every pro athlete is arrogant to the point where they don’t appear among the great unwashed masses.
Part of Day’s appeal to the fans is his off the course’ regular guy’ demeanor.
Oh, did it ever occur to you that this video may have been shot in Australia? Like 10,000 miles form Carlsbad?

Wow. We are now critiquing a 4 year olds swing. I’m not one for participation trophies but man criticizing the swing of a 4 year old is pretty lame. The only question here should be is he having fun.

I know exactly what range that is. I probably go there at least twice a week.

Lovely clickbait title. I won’t believe how good his swing is? When clearly it’s not good, and looks like any other 4 year old’s? Well, congrats. I clicked. You win this round…

Ehh no. Look at Poults kids if you want to see kids progressing well in golf. My 2.5 years old has more balance then Day jr.

What GolfWRXers are saying about Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons which he has in the bag at this week’s CJ Cup. WRXers have been commenting on the switch and the clubs themselves in our forums.

For lots more photos, check out the full thread here.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • btyh: “Holy offset.”
  • Glf_LU: “These are interesting. Not going to make a rush to judgement until I see them in person. It does look like a little more offset than I would expect to see in this model.”
  • bcflyguy1: “Kisner is not one to make a lot of equipment changes (see the GBB driver he’s still using), so if these do have staying power in his bag that will be interesting to see. I have to wonder if there’s something different about his set, because like others have mentioned there appears to be more offset on his than I recall seeing in the samples I’ve had in hand.”

WATCH: PGA Tour players play hole blindfolded and it’s hilarious/amazing

Published

on

As part of a Srixon campaign, four PGA Tour players recently participated in a three-hole challenge, with each hole being a different game; hole No. 1 was blindfolded, hole No. 2 was costumes and distractions, and hole No. 3 was alternate shot with a baseball bat. The teams were Smylie Kaufman and Sam Ryder against Shane Lowry and Grayson Murray.

Watch the full video below, since it is quite entertaining (albeit not the type of golf that Old Tom Morris surely had in mind), but in particular, make sure to check out the first hole where Lowry and Ryder play a full hole completely blind folded. It’s amazing to watch how badly Ryder struggles, and how Lowry nearly makes par.

Cleveland-Srixon’s marketing department has been hard at work crafting these viral-esque ad campaigns; if you remember, former long-drive champion Jamie Sadlowski recently dressed as 80-year-old Grandpa Jamie to fool range-goers. That video has since gathered over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
