Guy destroys Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG with a golf club

Published

on

This guy is clearly unhappy with a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG — worth about $143,000 — and, unfazed by cameras and an audience, took out his rage with a golf club.

Translations in YouTube comments (I know, not the most reliable source) say the man “bought his dream car,” but it “turned off by itself for two times.” The company offered him another car if it happened again, which it did, but the company didn’t oblige. Upset with the company, the man “got really mad and started to smash his car in front of the dealership.”

Correction: He pulled an all-out Taylor Swift from the Blank Space video.

Allegedly, the dealership “called the police and now the man is charged for breaking the property.”

On a positive note, it’s a good thing he kept his golf glove on throughout the destruction. Nothing’s worse than destroying your $140K car and coming away with blisters on your hands. We can all relate to that, right?

It appears to me that his clubs were not fit to him. I think he needs +.50″ and at least 2 degrees up with a Dynamic Gold S-400 hard stepped once with full cord grips. This is what happens when you play clubs that are to far back on the curve. Just think how fast he could have destroyed the hood if he only had slot technology!!Tungsten plugs would help lower the CG and help raise his launch angle to help him create the correct spin rate! This guy is really lost, he’s still using a 10 finger grip!!!! The staff bag really is a nice touch of class also.

Looks like his clubs are a little to flat , probably need about +.50″ and 1 deg up, with an a-flex.! Can’t believe he is using the 10 finger grip!!!! A touch of class with the staff bag is perfect!!!!!

Didn’t anybody tell him that the engine shuts itself off when stopped and when you put your foot back on the accelerator the engine starts again.
    That’s what these cars do!

its Stop and Go feature that is standard with German cars now. I am sure you can disable it entirely.
However he would be better deiving it to the range and hit couple of drivers there. Certainly wrong club selection and more knee flex and hip rotation would help all the way.

This is a major problem that Mercedes Benz will not admit to. I purchased an s63 amg and it shut off multiple times down the road. After many visits to the service center and the GM getting fired over the issue they finally got me in a 65 amg.

What GolfWRXers are saying about Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons which he has in the bag at this week’s CJ Cup. WRXers have been commenting on the switch and the clubs themselves in our forums.

For lots more photos, check out the full thread here.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • btyh: “Holy offset.”
  • Glf_LU: “These are interesting. Not going to make a rush to judgement until I see them in person. It does look like a little more offset than I would expect to see in this model.”
  • bcflyguy1: “Kisner is not one to make a lot of equipment changes (see the GBB driver he’s still using), so if these do have staying power in his bag that will be interesting to see. I have to wonder if there’s something different about his set, because like others have mentioned there appears to be more offset on his than I recall seeing in the samples I’ve had in hand.”

WATCH: PGA Tour players play hole blindfolded and it’s hilarious/amazing

Published

on

As part of a Srixon campaign, four PGA Tour players recently participated in a three-hole challenge, with each hole being a different game; hole No. 1 was blindfolded, hole No. 2 was costumes and distractions, and hole No. 3 was alternate shot with a baseball bat. The teams were Smylie Kaufman and Sam Ryder against Shane Lowry and Grayson Murray.

Watch the full video below, since it is quite entertaining (albeit not the type of golf that Old Tom Morris surely had in mind), but in particular, make sure to check out the first hole where Lowry and Ryder play a full hole completely blind folded. It’s amazing to watch how badly Ryder struggles, and how Lowry nearly makes par.

Cleveland-Srixon’s marketing department has been hard at work crafting these viral-esque ad campaigns; if you remember, former long-drive champion Jamie Sadlowski recently dressed as 80-year-old Grandpa Jamie to fool range-goers. That video has since gathered over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
