Vokey releases Links K on WedgeWorks
Vokey’s new Links K wedges (available in 58 and 60 degree) are inspired by the conditions common in links golf, and crafted with the expertise of the company’s master craftsman Bob Vokey and Aaron Dill. They are the result of the pair’s combined decades of experience building wedges for many of the best golfers in the world.
The Links K is a low-bounce version of the company’s K Grind wedge, and has a wide sole and low effective bounce (4 degrees) to help golfers play shots from the firm, tight fairways and deep bunkers that are typical in The Open Championship and in links-style golf.
The wedges use Vokey’s Spin Milled TX3 grooves, and have a raw finish that will rust over time. They can be customized for $275 each (RH only) and are available only through WedgeWorks.

Want pro equipment without a pro card? You’re going to pay. Want a deal? Try Walmart or Sports Authority.

Does seem a bit steep, $275 plus if you upgrade the shaft etc etc probably over $300 a club. If you have money and want to spend it who cares about price. Those who care don’t have enough money lol

I liked the idea up until the whole $275 came around.

Any chance of releasing a wedge for Saturdays and one for Sundays?
It’s never ending, surely the money would be better spent on a golf lesson or two…

Last year it was driving irons, this year wedges.

Was thinking the same thing, funny how driving irons haven’t had a mention this time around. Wonder if what it will be next year.

$275 a wedge? You’re having a laugh that’s ridiculous..

Ever looked at Tourspecgolf.com? $275 is nothing.

Not exactly. The typical JDM wedge goes for around 150-160 USD. Very few are over 200.

Which company can resist the urge seeing as the pro’s are playing links at the moment.
