Poulter auctioning off years worth of gear for charity

Published

on

Ian Poulter, who recently split his with long-time sponsor Cobra-Puma and has since signed with Titleist/Footjoy, is auctioning off a garage full of clothes, hats, golf bags, golf clubs and shoes — most of which look to be from his time spent with Cobra-Puma.

He warned auction-winning hopefuls to be quick with their entries, clearly expecting for the items — which he autographed — to sell quickly.

And it’s all for a great cause.

Dreamflight is a charity that takes children with serious illnesses or disabilities on a “magical holiday” to Orlando, Fla. each year. Here’s the link for the auction if you’re interested in partaking.

Clubs went quick! I wish he’d show his shoe size- I was considering buying a pair or two then using some nail polish remover or similar solution to scrub off his signature! lol

Honestly if the money wasn’t going to a good charity I wouldn’t have even spit in the direction of that stuff

Sorry, but why did he have to sign all of the stuff? Just send a signature card with the item. this makes all the clubs useless. ohhh let me buy the driver with this ugly signature on the crown. Man this guy has an ego – incredible. i see how it would be easy to assult him.

Wait till he acts like a jerk? I’ll admit he is doing a good thing, but dude has a history of being a jerk. Signed, Ted Bishop

Assault him? I seriously hope you’re not suggesting this is grounds for bashing the guy? Perhaps a little excessive?

Signature would be easily removed from the crown of a driver with acetone…

I see how he is selling his old sponsors junk. He was not selling his old Footjoy collection though.

Wow you have a lot of great items up for auction. What will you do with the items that are not sold at auction. I’m sure you have thought of this but how about donating items to local kids and schools golf courses. The game of golf is truly great for kids to be involved with i know my guys love it as well as I. Great job cool items.
