Snedeker with the best golf video you’ll see… maybe ever

Yea, that’s the guy, SKEEETeker.

Armed with a Bridgestone 4-ironinstead of shotgun, Brandt Snedeker shot a clay pigeon out of mid-air. Nice shot, Sneds, regardless of how many attempts this must have taken.

It was a great shot, but the casual attire is really what makes this the video of the year. Long sleeve t-shirt tucked into his boxers? Check. Green trucker hat? Check. New Balance running shoes? Have a field day Marty Hackel.

The only shot that mattered between US and EURO golfers was the shot each team had at the Ryder Cup. The EUROs definitely had that one down PAT.

    Nuff said.

    No physiques required.

This is actually a pretty good way to play golf. See the target and hit it, with no pause in between.

If I look closely enough at the background, I think I can even see bigfoot shaking its head in disbelief …

      NOT!!!!

Took 4-5 guys using wedges with the skeet going straight up and down so the target was bigger and angle much easier.

Sneds did it with a 4 iron and a much tougher angle.

Yup takes 4-5 Euros what it takes for 1 American can do. 😀

Yeah, not to take sides in the whole US vs. Euro debate, but Brandt’s shot was definitely more impressive.

If you want to look at the two types of shots from purely a physics point of view, the euro tour shot is actually more difficult. The vectors that each object travel on intersect at the point of collision. The time at which the two objects could collide with the angles of approach in relation to each other is actually much longer with the Snedeker shot. The euro shot is much closer to the paths of the objects colliding at right angles which is a much shorter time frame of possible collision than the Snedeker shot that the two paths travel on a much more acute angle to each other. So, actually physics tells us, regardless of the club used, the chance of the euro shot being achieved has a much lower probability than the Snedeker shot. Regardless, they were both done and both great shots.

As a D1 golfer and physics major, I have to say Rich, your comment was quite entertaining. I haven’t had a laugh like that in a long time. Hahaha. “Physics tells us”. Physics ain’t telling YOU squat

Besides a pitiful attempt at an argument from authority, please do enlighten us how physics “ain’t telling” us “squat”.

Yes, I’d like to hear how you support your argument of “squat”.
