Inside the ropes photos from the Allianz Championship

Published

on

GolfWRX is onsite at the first full-field Champions Tour tournament of the year, the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton, Fla.

The tournament takes place on The Old Course at Broken Sound, which measures 6807 yards and will play as a par 72. The 76-man field is playing for a purse of $1.8 million, with the winner taking home $270,000.

Last year, Cory Pavin shot a final-round 71 to get to 11-under (remember, the Champions Tour only plays three rounds) and outlast Peter Senior in a playoff.

I would guess it belongs to Bernhard Langer, he has always had a thing for Hogan Apex irons.
