Happy Father’s Day weekend and U.S. Open weekend at none other than Pebble Beach weekend! Whoa, cannot wait to see the golf action today!

In this video, we talk about how to deal with hip, knee and ankle injuries to your lead side as this one is PIVOTAL (pardon the pun) to the success of any kinetic chain in a human. This kinetic chain is a golf swing. Now, what most of you don’t get is that you were born with action; like a dolphin was born to swim. Just watch 2-year-olds swinging a club! You wish you had that swing and guess what, it is in there. But you keep hiding it trying to hit the ball and being careful to manipulate the club into positions that are absolutely, positively sure to snuff out this action.

Yes humans have evolved to act upon intent by preprogramming by our subconscious.
That does not mean that humans have evolved to swing a golf club.

To swing a golf club properly we must overcome a few natural genetic tendency.
When golf instructors recognize and understand how to overcome those natural tendency
the student can progress; otherwise its smoke and mirrors and placebo effect.

Having had a left knee replacement 3-1/2 years ago , I have to say this video is almost comical. It does not even touch on the difficulties of clearing and finishing on your left side and how to complete that task. After every round of golf I just have to deal with the inflammation and swelling in my left knee that comes with the territory. I have found that my approach to hitting the golf ball is the same as it was before my surgery. Trust me I do it nowhere near as well as before, but at least I can play. This video offered no tips or ideas on how to make the task easier!
