We spotted new UST Mamiya Attas “Coool” shafts at the 2017 PGA Championship on Monday, which are said to be made for the “aggressive golfer” and a low-to-mid-spin trajectory, according to the company.
The shafts are made with high-modulus carbon fiber with low resin content for stability and a smooth feel, and they have a constant-taper design for more ball velocity. The shafts also have a progressive flex profile throughout the line — which ranges from 50 to 80 grams — meaning the shafts get stiffer as the weight increases.
Attas Coool shafts officially release on October 1, and they will sell for $400 each. Check out the specs below, provided by UST.
