That was quick. After less than 24 hours, the following message now appears when you click Costco’s link for Kirkland Signature Tour Performance golf balls.

———-

After a hiatus from the market, Costco’s Kirkland Signature golf balls popped back up on Thursday of The Masters in select stores around the country. In the April 6 release, the Kirkland Signature Tour Performance golf balls sold for the same $29.99 per two dozen price that they were originally sold for, despite golfers expecting a rise in price upon re-release.

They didn’t last long in stores, however, and they weren’t made available online either.

That has changed. Kirkland Signature Tour Performance golf balls, which are four-piece golf balls with urethane covers, are currently selling online on Costco’s website for $29.99 plus $4.99 for shipping and handling. There’s a two-package limit (four dozen balls) per membership, and the website is reporting limited supplies.

There is no word yet on the “Performance One” golf ball that appeared on the USGA Golf Ball Conforming List as of March 1.

I’m one of the 95% and I “half” agree with you. It doesn’t matter for most shots, EXCEPT for 100 yards and in on wedge shots. I can stop the 4 piece balls on the green. I can’t stop the distance balls.

what I learned from the recent news about Costco Kirkland Signature Golf balls: you peoples lose a lot of golf balls. I mean a lot. A single ball would last me several rounds before it got scuffed up enough for me to toss it.

Courses we play don’t have windmills and clown mouths to putt through

Mad-Mex, Perfect comment. Seriously, if you go 3 rounds without changing your ball, you are not taking enough risks in your game and are likely a high handicap hitting 150 off the tee and taking a couple extra stokes per hole. When you are hitting over 225 off the tee and at least attempting to par a few holes, you will have to take some risks and not every risk pays off, that is why golf is fun/painful. So either your telling us a story or you are being way to conservative in your golf game.

I think I’m a pretty good golfer, I can definitely go 3 rounds without changing a ball. not saying I don’t lose a ball occasionally but I don’t play TPC Sawgrass everyday. Just super consistent with the driver. May not hit it as far as some of the other guys, carry it about 230, play bethpage black often and have no issues reaching fairways. I hit it straight and can’t relate to guys who don’t…

I saw the announcement yesterday and jumped online and got some! Order is confirmed and on its way. What I do not understand is why they can’t stock more and increase availability.

What GolfWRXers are saying about Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing Kevin Kisner’s new Callaway X Forged CB irons which he has in the bag at this week’s CJ Cup. WRXers have been commenting on the switch and the clubs themselves in our forums.

For lots more photos, check out the full thread here.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • btyh: “Holy offset.”
  • Glf_LU: “These are interesting. Not going to make a rush to judgement until I see them in person. It does look like a little more offset than I would expect to see in this model.”
  • bcflyguy1: “Kisner is not one to make a lot of equipment changes (see the GBB driver he’s still using), so if these do have staying power in his bag that will be interesting to see. I have to wonder if there’s something different about his set, because like others have mentioned there appears to be more offset on his than I recall seeing in the samples I’ve had in hand.”

WATCH: PGA Tour players play hole blindfolded and it’s hilarious/amazing

Published

on

As part of a Srixon campaign, four PGA Tour players recently participated in a three-hole challenge, with each hole being a different game; hole No. 1 was blindfolded, hole No. 2 was costumes and distractions, and hole No. 3 was alternate shot with a baseball bat. The teams were Smylie Kaufman and Sam Ryder against Shane Lowry and Grayson Murray.

Watch the full video below, since it is quite entertaining (albeit not the type of golf that Old Tom Morris surely had in mind), but in particular, make sure to check out the first hole where Lowry and Ryder play a full hole completely blind folded. It’s amazing to watch how badly Ryder struggles, and how Lowry nearly makes par.

Cleveland-Srixon’s marketing department has been hard at work crafting these viral-esque ad campaigns; if you remember, former long-drive champion Jamie Sadlowski recently dressed as 80-year-old Grandpa Jamie to fool range-goers. That video has since gathered over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
