GolfWRX is pleased to share photos from the LPGA Tour’s Lotte Championship at the Ko Olina Golf Club on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, courtesy of GolfWRX Members tod071 and pitbull808.
Last year, Minjee Lee won the event with rounds of 68-66-74-64 (16-under par), one shot better than In Gee Chun and Katie Burnett. Lee is back to defend her title this year, but to do so she’ll need to get past a strong field that’s headlined by Lydia Ko, the top-ranked LPGA Tour player for the last 77 weeks, as well as So Yeon Ryu, who picked up her second major championship victory two weeks again at the ANA Inspiration. Past champions Michelle Wie (2014) and Ai Miyazato (2012) are also in the field.
Ko Olina will play as a par-72 this year, stretching nearly 6,400 yards from the tips.
