2017 Masters Odds

Published

on

Is it really any surprise that Dustin Johnson enters The Masters as the odds-on favorite to capture the Green Jacket? After all, he’s already won three events this year and is the top-ranked golfer in the Official World Golf Rankings.

That makes his 7-to-1 odds — best on the board — to capture his first Green Jacket something that shouldn’t shock many people.

Jordan Spieth, looking for some redemption after his collapse at Augusta last year, is listed at 17 to 2, second best of the field. Speaking of that stunning Spieth stumble, defending champion Danny Willett enters the week at 75-to-1 odds.

Joining Spieth in the No. 2 spot is Rory McIlroy, who is just a Green Jacket away from completing the career grand slam. That would also give him his first major title since winning the PGA Championship in 2014.

Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama have the fourth- and fifth-best odds, respectively, to prevail at the year’s fist major.

Here’s a look at all of the odds, courtesy of VegasInsider.com. They’re accurate as of April 2 at 11 p.m.

Photos from the 2024 Cognizant Classic

Published

GolfWRX is on site this week at the Cognizant Classic —FKA the Honda Classic.

The first leg of the PGA Tour’s traditional “Florida swing,” the Cognizant Classic continues to be contested at PGA National’s Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, host course of the 1983 Ryder Cup and 1987 PGA Championship. The course is known for its famed “Bear Trap,” a three-hole stretch of holes that take their name from Jack “The Golden Bear” Nicklaus, who redesigned the course in 2002.

The Bear Trap includes No. 15 (a par 3), No. 16 (a par 4), and No. 17 (a par 4). All three holes involve water and have led to several big numbers from Tour players over the years.

Check out an assortment of general galleries, WITBs, and pullout albums below.

We’ll continue to update the galleries as more photos flow in from Florida!
