GolfWRX is live this week from the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, an event that’s played on Pebble Beach Golf Links, Monterey Peninsula Country Club’s Shore course and Spyglass Hill Golf Course.

The pro-am, which names an individual professional champion and a team champion, features the world’s best players and a number of celebrity golfers, too.

From the PGA Tour, notable participants include Jason Day, who’s the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world, Dustin Johnson (No. 3), Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Jim Furyk, Smylie Kaufman, Patrick Reed, defending champion Vaughn Taylor, Vijay Singh, Jimmy Walker, among others.

Notable celebrities in the field include musicians Justin Timberlake, Toby Keith, Jake Owen and Kenny G, actors Bill Murray, Ray Romano and Mark Wahlberg, football players Peyton Manning, Steve Young and Aaron Rodgers, surfer Kelly Slater, and many more.

    pretty sly that the handpicked photos are callaway products…. this place is getting ridiculous with the callaway advertising….

    Cannot wait to order myself one, it looks so good.

    I wasn’t super excited over the Callaway blades before, in my head it was “Okay, a beautiful blade but nothing different”. However, if they keep that brushed look and darker color I will have to 100% put those in the bag. Those are drop dead gorgeous…

      Looks a lot like Cleveland CG1 to me. Even the number looks the same.

    Wow, those Callaway’s are gorgeous. Reminds me of the ’97 Titleist Tour Model blades. Very cool!

Thursday’s Photos from the 2017 PNC Father/Son Challenge

GolfWRX is live this week from the 2017 PNC Father/Son Challenge at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

The 20-team field includes some of the game’s legendary major champions, and their sons. Notable teams include John Daly/Little John Daly, Nick Faldo/Matthew Faldo, Tom Kite/David Kite, Bernhard Langer/Jason Langer, Greg Norman/Greg Norman Jr., Jack Nicklaus/Gary Nicklaus Jr., and Lee Trevino/Daniel Trevino.  The teams will compete in a scramble format over 36 holes to decide the winners of the Willie Park Trophy.

Last year, David Duval and his step-son Nick Karavites took home the trophy, and they are back in the field this year to defend.

Friday’s Photos from the 2017 QBE Shootout

GolfWRX is live this week from the 2017 QBE Shootout at Tiburon G.C. in Naples, Florida. Formerly known as the Franklin Templeton Shootout, or the Shark Shootout, the unofficial event plays host to 24 of some of the world’s best golfers, competing in a two-person team competition. The format calls for 54 holes; first-round scramble, second-round modified alternate shot, and third-round fourball (or better ball).
