How can you get the Hopkins blades at retail? Their website only has one set of irons for sale. Anyone know anything?

Kind of curious that as Vijay ages into his 50’s, he no longer carries anything like the old Callaway Nine-wood/7w/5w thing that he carried for years. (It was a Callaway Nine-wood head that was shimmed so open that it was effectively de-lofted to be a 5-wood.)
With all of the fine hybrid/utility clubs out there, and with Vijay getting older, playing some shorter Champions Tour setups, and fighting some elbow issues, you’d think he’d naturally feature something like that in his bag.
I wonder if Vijay has made some swing changes that no longer have him relying on wide-open (6-9 degrees open on some of his drivers and woods) face angles?

Moving weight back will move the MOI back, which will likely improve hits off center.

Does the weight/lead tape at the end of the driver make it more forgiving?

no

Simple answer, yes. The Aero Bunner was designed with a forward CG to lower the spin but this also lowers the MOI of the driver making it less forgiving. If VJ were applying lead tape on the sole to make it more forgiving he would have wanted to apply it as far back on the sole as possible. Most like they just applied it to achieve a certain swing weight.

Those Hopkins irons look a bit like the Miura mb-001’s. I like them.
