L.A.B. Golf’s blade-style LINK.1 putter set for wide release

Published

on

Anser-style putter, but make it L.A.B. After a limited release late last year, L.A.B Golf is bringing its all-new LINK.1 putter to retail.

“So many golfers love the look of blade-style putters, but they’re not always the best for making putts,” said L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn. “What we did with LINK.1 was honor the shape of these legendary putters but make them dramatically easier to use by adding Lie Angle Balance.”

To bring Lie Angle Balance to LINK.1, L.A.B. Golf hyper-engineered it from 303 Stainless Steel, with the new addition 100% CNC Milled with four screws on the heel side and six on the toe side to offer a wide range of length and lie angle options.

“We created LINK.1 for every golfer that loves the idea of using this timeless shape but doesn’t make enough putts with it. LINK.1 is better for the simple reason that it has Lie Angle Balance and will stay square by itself like all L.A.B. Golf putters.” – L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn

The putters are 100% Made In the USA and built and balanced by L.A.B. Golf Craftsmen in L.A.B. Golf’s new factory in Creswell, Oregon.

Specs, pricing, and availability

LINK.1 will be available in two models: LINK.1 Custom and LINK.1 Stock.

LINK.1 Custom (starting at $559) makes available L.A.B. Golf’s full range of industry-leading customization options. The putters are offered in lengths of 29-38 inches and lie angles from 65 to 75 degrees. LINK.1 CUSTOM also offers golfers the choice of eight different alignment options, as well as multiple upgrade shaft and grip options.

LINK.1 Stock ($469) is available in L.A.B. Golf’s most popular lie angle of 69 degrees and lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches. It’s equipped with a Matte Black Steel Shaft and L.A.B. Golf’s new Simple Rubber putter grip.

LINK.1 Custom and LINK.1 Stock are now available at labgolf.com. They will be arriving soon at golf retailers across the world including PGA Tour SuperStore, Club Champion, and Golf Galaxy.

Most forgiving players irons? – GolfWRXers discuss

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing players irons. WRXer ‘NorthTXGolf’ is on the hunt for some new irons but is putting a priority on forgiveness, and has reached out to fellow members who have been sharing their thoughts and advice on the subject in our forum.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Sam217: “i230 has got to be one of the most forgiving players irons available. Cobra King Tour another. Don’t sleep on the New Level 480 DB coming out soon.”
  • RangeBaller: “ZX5/ZX7 and i230 should definitely be in your testing pool.”
  • YAMS49: “Another I210 homie here… Very highly recommended if you want/need spin and a consistent yardage.”
  • golf-RN: “I second the Cobra King Tour irons. I am not the greatest ballstriker by any stretch of the imagination and I find the King Tours very forgiving. Toe strikes might lose 5 or 6 yards with no directional loss. You definitely feel the miss though lol but mishits from the center aren’t punished too hard regarding distance.”
