Best shaft to pair with TaylorMade’s SIM2 driver? – GolfWRXers discuss
In our forums, our members have been discussing shaft options for TaylorMade’s SIM2 driver. WRXer ‘New_Guy’ asks a simple question to kick off the thread: “What is your favorite shaft with this head?” And our members have been sharing their picks and why in our forum.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- Kcarrgolf: “I started with the Tensei AV Raw Blue that it came with stock, then went to a Fuji Pro 2.0 that was better, but finally settled on the Ventus Blue w/ velo. That’s been the most consistent shaft for me, 105 swing speed.”
- jah7838: “Diamana D+ Limited 70s for me. Very consistent launch and spin with plenty of carry. Tensei AV Raw White 65s was probably my 2nd favorite.”
- dulaney22: “Tested the Hzrdus Black, Ventus Black, Ventus Blue and Tensei 1k 50. Blue Ventus is hands down the best feeling and performance for me. 1k performs well, but I don’t care for the feel. Apparently, I don’t get along with the black shafts.”
- PEI_Golfer: “I’ve tried a few shafts and will go between a Hzrdus Green 70S and Ventus 6x for the start of next year. If those fail, right back to a TSi2 9* AV Raw Blue 65TX combo and not look back at trying to replace it.”
