S shafts? No wonder he barely broke 80 today. Guy must love hitting super spinny banana-shaped golf shots. Most guys on Tour want the ball to fly at a trajectory and drift one way or another on command. Not many guys want the ball to curve or spin alot or fly too high, which softer shafts tend to do. He is apparently stubborn about not making too many changes. Best players in the world almost all play an X shaft of some sort for a reason. Maybe he will be the exception.

You are numb. This is the number one AM , you think he doesn’t know how to play or make shots? It doesn’t even say how much that 5s is tipped and just because its a stiff does not mean its “spinny” ya nun. You know these kids have spent days in the SIM just in college. They have tried everything and found what works for their swing to maximize what they need for shots. All Pros will shoot an 80 at some point. DJ did twice last year and he is #1.
