What GolfWRXers are saying about Costco’s Kirkland Signature wedges

Published

on

In our forums, our members have been discussing their experiences with Costco’s Kirkland Signature wedges. WRXer ‘LTom’ is intrigued by the wedge set and reaches out for feedback on the clubs, and our members have been sharing their generally positive thoughts on the wedges in our forum.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Hawkeye77: “I have a friend who got some Kirklands – and as he says, do not call them Costco wedges, lol. He likes them a lot and really doesn’t seem to see any difference from the nice Clevelands he had before.”
  • JackpotJohnny: “I played with someone today that had them. His comment was they work just fine if you don’t need custom grinds or bounce options.”
  • randshoe: “I’ve heard great things, and these would make a great starter set for the intermediate golfer. Would be nice if there was shaft customization available.”
  • Stretchr: “I’m enjoying mine so far. Fwiw, I suck at golf but am working hard at getting better. I have hit some great shots with these wedges so far, especially enjoying the 52. I play it very often in full shots, and it has done very well so far. The return policy at Costco is the big winner here; as a newbie, I’ve already managed to bend a shaft on a tree trunk. Easily returned and got new wedges. Not much at risk if you don’t like them take them back. I’m sure there are “better” options, but I like them and don’t know any better about bounce and grind options at this point anyway.”

I believe it’s widely agreed that wage play is where scoring can really be improved. However, That said, I doubt most players above a five handicap could honestly tell the difference between a Costco wedge and a Vokey
