XXIO introduces new Eleven series for 2020

Published

on

XXIO has unveiled its Eleven series which focuses on lightweight and features the brand’s new Weight Plus technology which is designed to produce a more consistent and powerful swing.

The Weight Plus technology in the new clubs is formed through the use of up to 13g of brass and rubber weights being placed in the butt end of every XXIO shaft in a bid to offer ultimate balance points. According to the company, the mass behind the hands operates as a lever – assisting in the takeaway and reducing the effort required to swing each club.

The Eleven driver, fairway woods, and hybrids feature a redesigned cup face structure designed to be fastest on center strikes and miss-hits alike. The Eleven driver uses a Star Frame rib structure to support a sole thickness of .45mm, redistributing weight to provide improved launch and forgiveness.

The woods and hybrids of the new Eleven series contain a lightweight shaft and a uniquely shaped weight pad which creates space for a larger cup face in a bid to provide increased speed and distance.

Along with the larger cup face, the clubs contain two slots cut into the iron body just behind the face for added flexibility which in turn seeks to provide golfers with maximum ball speed.

Speaking on the new release, Chuck Thiry, Vice President of XXIO USA stated

“We’ve been developing lightweight equipment for nearly two decades now. That kind of experience gives you a real understanding of, not only the benefits of lightweight but also the benefits of accompanying technologies that you can pair with lightweight to make the products perform even better.

With our new Weight Plus counterbalancing technology, we are further pushing the limits of high balance point. It’s the combination of lightweight and high-balance point that makes XXIO Eleven a game-changer for moderate swing speed players.”

Just started using a 2017 model of XXIO driver on a reg flex “4222” code MP 1000 shaft and to those who scoff at XXIO, if your swing speed is lower end of so called regular flex, this thing is quite the cat’s meow.
