Alot of ppl know that tour players play with balanced clubs and also tweaked bounce wedges depending on the course setup.
One of the big advantages they have over amatuers is they play with balanced balls.
If you buy a dozen expensive balls and place them on a machine…maybe 2 out of the dozen will be perfectly balanced.
Every played with a ball you just couldnt lose? A balanced ball has less side spin and rolls out straighter on putts.
Must be nice.

Chrome Soft is not available in Triple Track per Callaway’s website, so maybe he was playing the ERC golf ball. I thought it was odd when they showed closeups and I saw their new Triple Track lines. Maybe he was showcasing the new ball for this tournament? Or maybe they made custom Chrome Soft balls?

Per my Callaway rep, Phil is playing a Chrome soft x with triple trac, made for him possibly available in the future for the public depending on the success of triple trac in the new ERC ball.

Chrome Soft with the lines will be available in 2-3 months. My buddy who works at a chain golf store got the memo.

Love that he has four different model irons in his bag, but all the same shaft.

What shaft was in his putter…definitely wasn’t a Stroke-Lab…either steel painted black or all graphite.

It also appeared his putter head was welded on but the pic above doesn’t show that. Maybe WRX is using old pics. Either way awesome win for old Lefty.
