10 interesting photos from the U.S. Open

Published

on

We’re on the famed grounds of Shinnecock Hills Golf Club for the second major of the year. With the U.S. Open returned to such a visually and historically rich venue, it may be a bit tough to focus on equipment.

Nevertheless, we spotted some cool clubs Sunday, as well as some curious contraptions and distinct practice methods.

Let’s get to the photos.

A more beautiful ball bag has never been seen

Red on red Circe T cover…plus what’s rumored to be a Sugarloaf Social Club towel.

How can you not love Doug Ghim’s Walker Cup headcover?

The Scientist has added some weight to his wedges.

An anonymous staff bag?

Many questions for Charley Hoffman. Shorts? Hanging rope? And what is that device?

Likewise, Jason Dufner leaving no stone unturned in his quest for better putting…

Also on the Duf front: He has National Custom Works wedges now. Savage.

Straight from the pro shop? Regardless, superb Shinnecock putter cover. Pairs well with tweed!

A Jones staff bag?

All our photos.
