Exotics CB Pro F2 Fairway Woods

Published

Slip Stream Sole, take two.

Exotics has updated its original CB Pro fairway woods with new limited-edition CB Pro F2 fairway woods that have slightly smaller heads and a lower, more forward center of gravity to improve versatility and peak ball speeds.

The focus with the new fairway woods, however, remains on the company’s unique “Slip Stream Sole design,” which like the company’s new CB Pro U hybrids has shorter “waves” to improve turf interaction.

[quote_box_center]“The Slip Stream sole is the design I am most proud of, so far,” said David Glod, president and founder of Tour Edge Exotics. “The foundation of Exotics is to bring the best technology in the industry to players worldwide and that is my goal with each new product introduction. The CB PRO family of clubs is our premium line and the new F2 fairway wood only adds to that reputation.”[/quote_box_center]

The CB Pro F2 measures 159cc, and comes stock with Mitsubishi Rayon’s second-generation Kuro Kage Silver TiNi shafts. The fairway woods also have combo-brazed, beta titanium cup faces that are 5 percent lighter than the original model, which allowed engineers to improve CG placement.

Models and Availability: The fairway woods are offered in lofts of 13.5, 14.5, 15.5 and 16.5 degrees, and are available in stores on June 1.

Don’t know how they can improve on the original.

I hit my 14.5 with Speeder 757 Stiff, longer than my new Titleist 915 D3 and I got fitted for the 915..

    Really amazing FW….
