Sea Island: Toulon Golf releases 4th Small Batch putter

The fourth limited offering from Toulon Golf pivots from West Coast inspiration to somewhere decidedly more Atlantic Ocean-adjacent: Sea Island.
Announced today, Toulon Golf’s Sea Island, which follows the Small Batch Dogwood, Montecito, and Vista, is an homage to the world-famous southeastern Georgia golf destination (and host of this week’s RSM Classic). Toulon Golf describes the flatstick as “elegant, beautiful, and timeless. Just like Sea Island itself.”
The Sea Island is a heel-toe weighted mid-mallet design that is a relative of Toulon’s Palm Beach putter. However, it is larger and features a flow neck hosel. Toulon engineers meticulously attended to “the subtle nuance of every blend, curve and radius” in shaping the putter.
A single sight dot is present on the top line with straight lines in the cavity for ease of alignment. Toulon’s Austin and Madison blades provided inspiration for the shoulder and bumper shaping for a “modern yet timeless” design. The sole plate is Aircraft 6061 aluminum, which both looks great visually and adds to the MOI of the putter. And of course, the sea turtles add a touch of whimsy and another nod to the putter’s namesake.
