Spotted: New Kirkland driver hits USGA conforming list

This week, Kirkland’s all-new driver landed on the USGA conforming list.
The driver is the latest club from Kirkland to land on the list, following in the footsteps of the brand’s irons, balls, wedges and putter.
Per the USGA conforming list, the driver will be available in 10.5 degrees and will come in a right-handed model.
There is no official confirmation that the driver will be available at retail in the future. However, a driver was spotted amongst Kirkland’s upcoming clubs earlier this year and was listed as costing $199.99.
In our forums, our members have been sharing their early thoughts on the driver. Here are a couple of posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- BirdieBoy1: “Yeah, that’s clean. Instantly reminded me of a Titleist. Curious on price and performance, but amazing performance might not matter if it’s decent for $250 or less.”
- molecularman: “You know YouTube is going to explode with reviews of this driver. I’m excited to see them all. I have no doubt the driver will perform decently. But hopefully, it will sound decent.”

Spotted: Adam Scott unveils new Miura irons

In our forums, our eagle-eyed members have been sharing their thoughts on Adam Scott’s new Miura irons.
On Tuesday, Scott shared images of the new irons on his Instagram, saying: “Unboxing a fresh set. Grinding by Mr. Miura himself.”
Back in August, we reported that the 2013 Masters champion replaced his Titleist 620 CB mid/short irons with Miura’s KM-700 model (6-9 iron). Scott’s new Miura irons appear to be a modified version of the KM-700 model.
Scott will likely put the irons in play for the first time at this week’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Here’s what our members have been saying in our forums about Scott’s new irons, but make sure to have your say at the link below.
- craz-e: “Love the KM 700’s, Adam must be like a kid in a sweet shop.”
- glm: “I could see those in my bag.”
- jaffabell: “Are we thinking less weight in the toe side to help closure rate? Surely that part of the sole will have minimal impact on the turf.”
