WITB Time Machine: Matt Kuchar, 2018 Mayakoba Golf Classic
With the PGA Tour making its annual trek south of the border this week, we wanted to take a look back at at the WITB of a winner of the now-World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba. Enter Matt Kuchar’s 2018 setup. Kuch finished a stroke ahead of Danny Lee at El Cameleon with his beloved Bridgestone J15CB irons in the bag along with some other regular arrows in his quiver, including a Bettinardi Kuchar Arm Lock flatstick. At the 2022 RBC Heritage Jordan Spieth defeated Patrick Cantlay on the first playoff hole after nearly holing his greenside bunker shot. The win was the 13th of the Texan’s career.
